We heard the terrible news while finishing our Global Board of Trustees meeting and we saw with horror and compassion the images of the tsunami.

My thoughts are with you in these difficult moments. I am very relieved to hear that all the MPI Japan Chapter members are safe and I hope that the same goes for your family and loved ones.

Please forward them our sympathy as well as our wishes for recovery.

It is great to hear you are safe and doing as good as can be expected.

I’ve also been watching the devastation in Japan by the tsunami.
Please let me know who we can support our Japanese members, the Japan MPI Board and the MICE community. Since we’ve sent out the original note, I’ve received some replies from our Japanese members saying they are doing fine. But I’m still concern about those who we have not heard from.

My prayers are with you and I hope to see you again soon.
